Yeah, I'm a fossil. I'm a dinosaur... But I'm still here. I'll probably be playin' when the world comes to an end...
In the studio, they call me a "Tremolo Titan..." a "Ravager of Riffs..." the "Prince of Progressions..." a veritable "Death Shredder..."
But my friends all call me "Bullets..."
(Now my ex-wife... well what she calls me is a different subject entirely and usually entirely unprintable!) ;-)
I've been playin' since I was a kid, In fact, when I started playin', that guitar was bigger than I was. I used to drag it around by the neck, from room to room.
I've played in halls, I've played hangin' from walls ( a "traveler guitar" is a wonderful thing... David Lee Roth ain't the only one who can "sail the granite!"). I've played ballrooms, stadiums, amphitheaters, and auditoriums...
I've performed for "producers," "panderers," "procurers," and even... "other performers." I've performed in places where you could hear a pin drop... and I've played venues where you couldn't hear an atomic bomb if it exploded right next to you.
I've written for "the masses," Movies, Video Games, Commercials, TV, Industrial films, Anime and even... gasp... other people.
I've been doing it for over 40 years, on almost every continent except Antarctica.
And through it all, one song remained the same. No matter how much booze you drink, how many drugs you do, or how hard you live... Music is hard to get out of your blood. In fact, if you do it right, "Music IS your blood."
I've seen 'em come and I've seen 'em go. I've seen them leave too soon and I've seen 'em play too long. Admit it, we've all seen guys that left too soon and broke our hearts and we've seen guys who should'a hung up the axe years before.
But... one chord remains the same... no matter where they are, heaven, hell or New Jersey... they still have heart and a desire to play.
Though all the heartache and sorrow, all the women, and all the glamor, it all ends up being about that "one love," hanging from pegs on the wall...
That's what I'm hoping to instill in YOU! I want you to become one of those guys who rocks as hard at 60, as you did at 18! It could happen! Several guys come to mind, right off the top of my head and we'll talk to 'em, here!
Over time, I'll drop hints and clues, maybe a tasty riff here and there, to give you an idea about who I might be...
But for now... I'm just "a voice in the wilderness," call me a "Moses of Music... trying to lead you to the promised land..."
Where else do they ROCK? Over 1.6 million of you come from these places:
